About Essex Home Media Walls
We're Essex Home Media Walls — a Basildon-based team that designs and builds bespoke media walls for homes right across Essex. We started out fitting media walls as part of wider home renovations, and the demand was so strong we made it our specialism. Everything's kept in-house, so the team that designs your wall is the same team that builds it.
What's stayed the same since day one: we do the work properly, we keep it straight with people on price, and we treat your home like we'd want ours treated.
One team, not five subcontractors
A lot of media wall companies pull in different trades for each part of the job — and that's where things slip. We don't work that way. Our design, carpentry, plastering, decorating and electrics are all handled in-house, by people we know and stand behind. One team, accountable for the whole build, from the first measurement to the final cable being tucked away.
Electrics done right
This is the part most people don't think to ask about — until something goes wrong. All electrical work on our media walls is carried out by NAPIT-registered electricians, and you get a minor works certificate for your records. It means your installation is safe, signed off and done to standard. Not every media wall company can say that, and it's the bit we won't cut corners on.
Built around you
No two rooms are the same, so we don't work off a template. We take the time to understand your space, your kit and how you actually live in the room, then design the wall around it. You see the design before any work starts — what we build is what you pictured, not our best guess.
